New Deal was created to help unemployed people aged 18 - 24 get into work by closing the gap between the skills employers want and the skills people can offer. It's an opportunity to get off benefits and get into work ... as well as earn some money.

So you’re 18 and you’ve left school and college. You’re still not sure that you are prepared for getting a job. You might need more education, training or work experience. For you, New Deal can provide options, which will help you into work and give you the skills employers need. New Deal is open to people claiming Jobseeker's Allowance for six months or more. To find out more look at the New Deal website or call 0845 606 2626. There is also a textphone facility on 0845 606 0680.
